Update from Dan Today

We received a phone call from Dan today. He was doing well. He reports that he will be going out tomorrow on a long mission that he is being told he won't be back to a main base until January. He doesn't know exactly where or what they will be doing so he was a little anxious (as were his parents). But he said he is doing well and feeling better after having a cold this past week. He hopes to be able to see email at times but really doesn't know when the next time will be. He said the temps are cooling down now and the highs are only in the 90's with the lows at night getting down in the 60's. Overall he was in pretty good spirits for looking at a few months living out of his vehicle. It was good to talk to him. We appreciate your prayers in his behalf.
He has purchased a camera again (kind of hard on cameras in the desert I guess) and we just shipped it out to him this week. So we are hoping for pictures in the near future.
