Arrived in Iraq

We received a phone call from Dan yesterday afternoon. He has arrived safely in Iraq. We were a bit surprised because he was expecting to spend a few days in Kuwait. Apparently some other group was late arriving so they took their slot and flew to the Northern part of Iraq. He was pretty tired after traveling for three days. This morning he called and said he felt better after a night's sleep. He thinks they'll leave the main base in a couple more days to head out to their desert camp. So for now the food is great. He wanted to thank those of you who called him last week (and so do we). He also said today its 117 degrees there so it’s pretty hot!
